Derek Chisora should retire, claims Frank WarrenDAZN
The 38-year-old fighter has lost three in a row.

Promoter Frank Warren believes that Derek Chisora should not fight in 2022 and went as far as saying that the veteran should retire.

The 38-year-old last fought in December in a draining rematch against Joseph Parker, losing for the second successive time against the former world champion from New Zealand.

Before Parker, Chisora fought Oleksandr Usyk as the Ukrainian felt his way into the heavyweight division and was on the end of a clear defeat again, meaning he has now lost three fights on the bounce. With 12 defeats in 44 fights over the course of his career, Warren told the BBC that Chisora should now step away from the ring.

"Chisora should retire, end of story," Warren said.

Warren then dismissed out of hand the notion that WBC champion Fury would entertain fighting Chisora.

“The only way Tyson fights Chisora again is if we were struggling for an opponent or if Tyson insisted on it,” he continued.

"He [Chisora] should retire. He shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the ring, let alone in there with Tyson."
