Derek Chisora called for a fight with Deontay Wilder after defeating Kubrat Pulev in their rematch last night.

Chisora lost to Bulgarian veteran Pulev back in 2016 but the 38-year-old veteran stopped a three-fight losing streak when he defeated the 41-year-old on Saturday.

His last victory came in 2019 against David Price, and some had been calling for him to step away from the ring after losing consecutive fights against Joseph Parker and Oleksandr Usyk before him.

However a split-decision win for Chisora left him looking for at least one more high-profile bout before he retires.

“I last won a fight three years ago,” he said after his win. “I'm happy today but at the same time I'm sad. I don't have many left in me but what I do have I will give my all to you guys.

“I don't have many left, so my next couple of fights... I'm on my way out. I don't want no easy fights, I want the hard fights.

“I told Eddie Hearn the other day, if he can get me the Bronze Bomber I'll be happy. I want to fight everybody in my era. Win or lose, I just want to fight.”
