Devin Haney to Teofimo Lopez: 'Let's do it for all the belts — the real undisputed'Matchroom Boxing
Fresh off his latest WBC lightweight title defense, Haney had words for Lopez, the unified lightweight champ.

Teofimo Lopez jabbed at Devin Haney earlier this week.

Well, after overcoming adversity to score a unanimous decision over Jorge Linares on Saturday night, Haney punched back at Lopez.

"If Teofimo Lopez is next," Haney told DAZN's Chris Mannix, "let's do it."

That fight would pit Lopez, the unified IBF, WBA, WBO, and WBC franchise lightweight champion, against Haney, the WBC lightweight titleholder. Both are undefeated fighters as well.

Added Haney moments later: "If Teofimo wants to get it next, let's do it for all the belts — the real undisputed."

While Haney was preparing for his fight against Linares, Lopez made sure to jab at "The Dream" often.

The chatter grew to where Haney addressed Lopez's comments during an appearance on the DAZN Boxing Show prior to his win over Linares.

“He can say what he wants, but we have to get in the ring and do it," Haney said about Lopez. "I can say what I'd do to him and what he’d do to me, but unless we get in the ring, it’s pointless to go back and forth."

Lopez will defend his unified world lightweight crown against George Kambosos Jr. on June 19.
