The American looked very impressive at the weekend in her UK debut.

Claressa Shields headed towards a potential meeting with Savannah Marshall by dominating Ema Kozin over 10 rounds on Saturday, in between a pair of press conferences to formally confirm the huge meeting between her two biggest pound-for-pound contemporaries, Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano.

The two-time Olympic gold medallist was in control throughout, and she marked her win by engaging in a verbal spat with fellow DAZN P4P top-10 ranked Marshall, who seemingly appeared unimpressed at ringside.

The pair are set to meet later this year in a fight that could possibly tell us who the best female fighter in the sport is. Shields considers herself the greatest women's fighter of all time due to her success in the sport but where does she rank in DAZN’s current P4P list?

The expert panel had only just moved Serrano into second at Shields' expense late last year after the Puerto Rican dominated Miriam Gutierrez in December, and though Shields ended a considerable period of inactivity (due to a two-fight venture into MMA), her comfortable success vs. Kozin was ultimately deemed to be just shy of enough to cause a swap-back for the time being.

For now, Shields stays in third place but 2022 is set to be a monumental year for women’s boxing with Taylor vs. Serrano very likely to result in the winner on April 30 and Shields consolidating as the top two over the summer, wiith Marshall eager to further unsettle what has been a rock-solid top 3 for some time now.
