Diego Pacheco continued his development as a top talent at super middleweight on Saturday night when he faced Shawn McCalman.
The two unbeaten fighters met in Las Vegas and it turned out to be an effective learning experience for Pacheco.
Despite struggling with McCalman's longer reach, Pacheco managed to battle through the 10 rounds and was given the victory on all three judges' scorecards.
Speaking to DAZN's Chris Mannix after the fight, Pacheco sent a message to his promoter Eddie Hearn when it comes to who he wants to face next.
"I’m ready, I’m right back in the gym, getting ready for the next one," Pacheco said.
"I told Eddie we need a top 10 guy next and hopefully he gets that for me.
"Anybody in the top 10, you can probably name them better than I can, but like I said any of those guys, we can get it."
