Dillian Whyte criticises Tyson Fury's talent ahead of Jermaine Franklin fight

Dillian Whyte criticises Tyson Fury's talent ahead of Jermaine Franklin fightDAZN

Dillian Whyte claims that WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is nothing special, despite being knocked out by the world's number one heavyweight earlier this year.

Whyte is back in action for the first time since that loss on Saturday night when he takes on Jermaine Franklin live on DAZN

Speaking ahead of his clash with the American, Whyte reflected on his loss to Fury and claimed that it wasn't the 34-year-old's boxing ability that led to his triumph at Wembley Stadium.

"The Fury fight was a tricky one. I knew it was going to be a difficult fight because he’s just so big," Whyte told Betfred's Lightweight Boxing Show

"People say he’s fast and a great boxer but he’s not, he’s just a big guy.

"In the fight he just pushed me over because he’s a strong guy. That’s because he’s so big, because I’m not a guy that gets pushed around easily.”

A win for Whyte this coming Saturday could land him some big fights in 2023 with one potential matchup being a second meeting with British rival Anthony Joshua.
