2025 will begin how 2024 finishes, with a mouthwatering heavyweight world title fight as Daniel Dubois defends his IBF belt against Joseph Parker, while Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol will go at it again on Saturday February 22 in Saudi Arabia.
The seven bout fight card is set to be one of the best ever, with all seven fights championship matches, which includes Zhilei Zhang, Hamzah Sheeraz and Joshua Buatsi.
Frank Warren's charge Dubois puts his title on the line for a second time, after his spectacular destruction of Anthony Joshua in September at Wembley.
32-year-old Parker has been reinvigorated in recent years since teaming up with trainer Andy Lee. He has defeated the likes of Simon Kean, Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang since his last loss to Joe Joyce in 2022, and will be in a confident mood to regain world title honours.
The Dubois/Parker fight will be a co-main headline, with Beterbiev and Bivol concluding the stacked Riyadh card.
Beterbiev will defend his undisputed light-heavyweight crown, just four months after beating Bivol in their original bout to take that honour. That was decided on a majority decision, but courted controversy, as many felt Bivol won the fight. It meant the world was clamouring for an instant rematch, which has been duly granted.
Elsewhere on the card the undefeated Brit Hamzah Sheeraz will take his maiden world title shot against WBC middleweight champion Carlos Adames. Zhang goes up against Agit Kabayel for the vacant WBC interim heavyweight title.
There is also a cracking all British fight as light-heavyweights Joshua Buatsi and Callum Smith go toe-to-toe for Buatsi's WBO interim title.
Shakur Stevenson's world middleweight championship is on the line against Flloyd Schofield, and Vergil Ortiz Jr and Israil Madrimov fight for Ortiz Jr's WBC world interim super welterweight belt.
The card will come hot on the heels of Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury 2 in Riyadh on December 22, while Tommy Fury and Darren Till go head-to-head on January 18, all live on DAZN Pay-Per-View, ensuring a great and gripping few months for fight fans.
