Eddie Hearn believes former WBC world heavyweight champion, Deontay Wilder, is currently boxing's most overrated fighter.
Since losing to Tyson Fury in their trilogy fight two years ago, Wilder has only fought once since with a first-round knockout win over Robert Helenius last October.
Now the American's next move is uncertain with former world champions Andy Ruiz Jr. and Anthony Joshua being touted as potential opponents for the 'Bronze Bomber'.
But while Wilder is a fighter who still generates excitement amongst fans, Hearn claims that Wilder is someone who is overhyped and fails to produce dominant performances.
"Deontay Wilder," Hearn responded on DAZN's Standing 8 when asked about who is currently boxing's most overrated fighter.
"The reason I say that is because I think Deontay Wilder is a dangerous knockout artist, but Luis Ortiz absolutely schooled him and stood him on his head.
"He knocked him out, he was 8-0 down in rounds, his only victory of note in his entire career is Luis Ortiz."
