Eddie Hearn doesn’t expect Terence Crawford to get the first shot at Sebastian Fundora despite heavy speculation linking him to the bout.
Last month, Fundora produced a big upset to become world champion at super-welterweight following a thrilling battle with Tim Tszyu.
In the immediate aftermath of the fight, it became clear that a rematch clause potentially exists for Tszyu, but numerous fighters were calling out Fundora.
Errol Spence is one name who fancies the contest, and Hearn thinks the Texan has a better chance of receiving the crack ahead of Crawford.
“What I think you’ll either see is Fundora against Tszyu or Fundora against Spence,” said Hearn when speaking to FightHype.
“As I understand it, Fundora is out six to eight months with that nose injury, so maybe Tszyu will fight in the meantime.”
