Anthony Joshua’s next move is still unconfirmed but Eddie Hearn, his promoter, has provided fight fans with a shortlist on who his man could face next.
Joshua has long been linked to a contest with Deontay Wilder but with that bout not set to take place until 2024, Joshua could have another contest before heading into the Wilder battle.
Speculation within the boxing industry has linked Joshua to be in action on December 23 but that event has still not been finalised.
With Wilder very much the priority for the two-time world heavyweight champion, Hearn has spoken on what could be next for Joshua.
“I don’t want to go on about the Wilder fight, but I think that’s March or April,” said Hearn when speaking to Boxing Social.
“I think he’s talking about fighting in January. People always say give us some names, I don’t know, Hrgovic, Wallin, Kabayel.
“Right now, we’ve not reached out officially for anyone for December 23, but if talks to speed up we would make a play for that date.”
