Eddie Hearn on Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk talks: 'I feel for Frank Warren'Matchroom Boxing

Eddie Hearn has stated that he ‘feels’ for Frank Warren as the Hall of Fame promoter continues in his efforts to make Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk.

The teams of the heavyweight rivals have been locked in talks in recent weeks aiming to secure a meeting on April 29th, but it appears those plans could possibly be thwarted with both side unable to agree to a deal.

Fury recently took to social media to offer his rival a 70/30 split in the WBC champion’s favour with Usyk not yet offering a response.

Hearn, a veteran of many high-profile negotiations, is fully aware of what is required to make a fight of such magnitude and has offered sympathy to his fellow promoter.

“I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I feel for Frank Warren,” said Hearn when speaking to IFLTV at the Diego Pacheco vs. Jack Cullen weigh-in.

“There’s a certain amount of money in the pot and sometimes fighters don’t understand this. If a fight generates a $100m then that’s the money available to the fighters.

"If you want a $100m on your own, then where do you think that’s coming from?”
