Eddie Hearn will be hopeful that Dmitry Bivol can get past Artur Beterbiev this summer after labelling the heavy-handed fighter as ‘arrogant.’
The pair came face to face at a press conference earlier this week to formally announce the event, but Hearn was taken aback by Beterbiev’s approach.
Light-heavyweight glory will be on the line when the unbeaten champions clash with the winner set to be declared undisputed champion.
Hearn has an excellent relationship with Bivol after promoting him for many years and he’s confident his man can get the job done.
“I found Beterbev a little bit arrogant. It might be the language barrier, but, you know, we’re trying to get stuff out of you to build the fight and I said to Dmitry before, smash him, come on,” said Hearn when speaking to Boxing Social.
“I really believe Dmitry will win, but it’s going to be a really tough night, because Beterbiev is brilliant, he’s a savage, what a fight.”
