Following the introduction of tag team boxing to the next DAZN X Series show on March 4, Elle Brooke has revealed that she would ‘love’ to partake in such a contest with Ebanie Bridges as her tag partner.
Next month sees Luis Pineda partner with BDave as they face the team of Stromedy and Austin Sprinz.
The unique concept has drawn widespread attention and if the event is a success, then it appears likely that such a bout can become a regular feature on DAZN X Series events.
Brooke, who impressed last month when stopping Faye Ordway, is close friends with Bridges, the current IBF bantamweight champion, and she’d have no issue walking into battle with her gym colleague.
“I would absolutely love that,” said Brooke to DAZN when asked about the possibility of teaming up with the Australian star.
“I would hate to be against Ebanie, but can you image me and Ebanie in one team? That is insane.
“Give me 12 months and let me get even better so she doesn’t need to help me out in the first 10 seconds. Oh my God, it would be so crazy. We’re such a good team as it is, and I think people would definitely want to tune in and watch that one.”
