Elle Brook believes that Katie Taylor is the greatest fighter in women’s boxing, but is not sure she will beat Chantelle Cameron this month.
The Only Fans and social media star has made her own way in the ring of late, fighting on an MF x DAZN card as well as most recently at a Kingpyn event.
She is currently undefeated and has recruited Ebanie Bridges to help her improve in the sport, and speaking to Legalsportsbooks.com, she demonstrated an awareness of one of the best - if not the best - fighters in the game.
Taylor put on a huge clash last year at Madison Square Gardens against Amanda Serrano, in what was a serious contender for Fight of the Year, and demonstrated that women are more than able to headline massive nights of boxing, with immediate calls for a rematch.
The Irish fighter and Serrano have not yet been able to run it back, but on May 20 Taylor takes on another undisputed fighter, Cameron, live on DAZN.
Brook said: “I think Chantelle is a lot bigger than Katie so I think she’s definitely going to have the advantage. Katie is a huge inspiration.
The fact that she went into the amateurs pretending to be a boy because in Ireland back then it was illegal to box as a female! It’s crazy how much everything has changed.
“She’s a pioneer in women’s boxing. If you think of the greatest of all time you’re going to think of Katie Taylor.”
