Fury's injury saw fight with Oleksandr Usyk rescheduled.

The fighter who caused the cut to Tyson Fury, who saw his heavyweight clash with Oleksandr Usyk rescheduled, has no regrets over the training incident.

Fury and Usyk were set to meet on February 17 in Saudi Arabia for the undisputed world heavyweight title, but the fight has been moved to May 18 following a cut to Fury's eye.

The injury occurred during a sparring session with boxer and MMA fighter Argon Smakici and required 15 stitches. However, despite causing one of the biggest fights of the year to be delayed, Smakici brushed off the injury.

According to Boxing Talk, Smakici insists it was just a result of what can happen in the ring and stated,  "It was a clear punch, so I don't feel bad."

Although Smakici claims it was a clear punch, promoter Frank Warren has already confirmed that it was actually an elbow that caught Fury and left his wife Paris 'shaking' following the collision.
