It's not something "TBE" wants to do.

After producing a boxing clinic to end his exhibition rematch and rivalry with John Gotti III on Saturday night, Floyd Mayweather Jr. was greeted by a fellow boxing legend.

Julio Cesar Chavez, who was ringside for the bout, hugged Mayweather before "Money' planted a kiss on his forehead.

During the buildup to the Mayweather-Gotti III rematch, Mayweather playfully toyed with the idea of boxing Chavez in a exhibition bout. But after embracing the legend, Mayweather seemingly dismissed that idea altogether and instead opted to heap praise onto his fellow Boxing Hall of Famer.

"Julio Cesar Chavez, he's a legend," Mayweather said to all the fans in attendance at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, and live on DAZN. "He's one of the guys that paved the way for me. An unbelievable fighter, one of the best fighters. He beat my uncle Roger [Mayweather] twice. I have to take my hat off to this legend."

After saluting Chavez, 62, the 47-year-old Mayweather respectfully downplayed any thought of them doing an exhibition bout against each other.

"He's older now and if I do an exhibition with him, it's not going to look good for me," Mayweather said. "He's one of the legends that I look up to and he paved the way for me. He does so much for the sport of boxing and for all the young Mexican fighters after him. This is the guy that paved the way, he's one of the best Mexican fighters of all time."

The two embraced and shook hands one more time before Mayweather, the self-proclaimed "The Best Ever," thanked Mexico City for playing host to his latest exhibition bout.
