Tyson Fury has been advised to disregard a Oleksandr Usyk rematch and head straight into a bout with Anthony Joshua.
Fury lost his WBC crown to Usyk earlier this month after receiving a count in the ninth round before losing via split decision.
The popular Brit has the option to force a rematch against Usyk, but it’s still unconfirmed what his next move will be.
Spencer Oliver, a former fighter and now a pundit on the sport, has urged Fury to forget about Usyk for the time being and jump into a huge showdown against Joshua.
“If I’m Tyson Fury, I'm not going into the rematch now. I’m fighting Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium first,” said Oliver when speaking to Talksport Bet.
“There are two fights left in Fury. That's the Oleksandr Usyk rematch and then the Joshua fight is always going to be a massive fight for the British public. Everyone has always wanted to see it.
“That's a fight that still sells, hugely. If you're looking at it from a business point of view, that's probably a bigger fight.”
