Former UFC fighter Darren Till believes that Jake Paul is leading the standards for crossover fighting.
Paul beat Nate Diaz earlier in the month to get back to winning ways after a defeat against Tommy Fury, and Fury will be back against another social media star in October.
He will face KSI, perhaps the only YouTuber who has taken to professional fighting with the same gusto as Paul.
The pair will meet on DAZN on October 14 live on DAZN PPV and DAZN.
Fury is sceptical of the future of crossover boxing, but Till thinks that with the revenue and attention it generates, there is little chance of it fading away.
However he acknowledges that Paul leads the way in terms of talent.
He told Betting Sites: “I think YouTuber boxing is here to stay, no so I don’t really agree with Tommy on that. In terms of them fighting real fighters, Jake Paul’s probably the only guy who’s beating any real fighters at the moment.
“I think the rest are still way behind. Jake’s at the forefront and Tommy’s already beaten him, although it was a close fight.
“I think influencer boxing is here to stay and we just have to make do with it because it's where the money is.”
