Former world champion blames Tyson Fury for Oleksandr Usyk fight collapse

Former world champion blames Tyson Fury for Oleksandr Usyk fight collapseDAZN

Timothy Bradley is the latest member of the boxing community to have his say on the recent collapse of Tyson Fury’s undisputed world title clash with Oleksandr Usyk.

The teams of both fighters had been locked in talks for weeks but a failure to agree suitable terms now means each boxer is looking for an alternative option.

In the last few days, Fury has been linked to a summer showdown with Joe Joyce that would do good business in Britain.

For Usyk, it appears that he’ll have to take care one of his mandatory obligations which likely means a fight with Daniel Dubois or Filip Hrgovic. The whole situation has become a little messy and that led to Bradley placing the blame on Fury.

“Fury is the one to blame,” said the former two-weight world champion when commentating for ESPN.

“I’m sick of the mess. I call this a legitimate duck by Fury, he’s ducking Usyk. He didn’t think Usyk was gonna take 70/30. The goalposts got moved again, they kept getting moved.”
