There is just a month to go until one of the biggest fights of the year takes place in Las Vegas between Gervonta 'Tank' Davis and Ryan Garcia.
After a long, drawn-out negotiation period, a deal was finally reached and now the pair will go head-to-head on April 22.
Anticipation for this fight is building due to the mainstream fanbases both Davis and Garcia possess, and an entertaining media tour which saw the fighters engage in heated verbal sparring.
Now is the time for predicitions to be made and former unified super lightweight Jose Ramirez revealed that he can only see one winner at the T-Mobile Arena.
"I choose ‘Tank’ because he’s been a lot more active in the ring and trust me, it really pays off," Ramirez told The DAZN Boxing Show.
"He has experience, he’s explosive, he has power, he’s fought some good 140lbers before."
But despite backing Davis to get the job done next month, Ramirez believes Garcia has the chance to spring a surprise on his rival.
"It’s one of those fights where Ryan Garcia could surprise ‘Tank’. He’s a long type of fighter, he’s lanky, he’s long and he has speed," Ramirez said.
"With 8oz gloves, a good shot around the button could be a flash knockdown.
"It’s an exciting fight for sure."
