A prime Mike Tyson would have no issues whatsoever dealing with the threat of Tyson Fury in a fantasy match-up.
That’s the verdict of Zab Judah, a two-weight word champion, who spent a portion of his own career following Tyson on some of his most memorable nights inside the ring.
Now retired, Judah still follows the sport intently and his opinion on the sort he dedicated the bulk of his life to is well sought after.
Speaking on the subject of boxing’s current heavyweight champion, the WBC ruler, Fury, Judah believes that his friend would have no issues making ‘easy work’ of the undefeated Brit.
“I think Fury would be easy work for Mike. If you look back there’s no fighter still to this day who is as fast as Mike Tyson,” said Judah when talking to OLBG
“Nobody is stepping and spinning and turning like Mike. If you look at the calibre of guys Mike used to knock back in the day. It was big giant guys like the [Anthony] Joshuas.
“Mike was known for knocking these kinds of guys out in the 80s and 90s. [Deontay] Wilder is a freak of nature, but Tyson was known for quickly closing the gap and then smash.”
