Francis Ngannou arrived in style when he made his boxing debut last month.

Francis Ngannou was able to withstand the power of Tyson Fury but where does the current WBC champion rank in terms of punchers that Ngannou has faced?

Although a boxing novice, Ngannou is an MMA veteran and his UFC run saw him go in with several impressive names as he reigned as the company's heavyweight champion.

Now seen as a legitimate contender in boxing following his excellent showing against Fury, Ngannou may have the opportunity to go in with other hard-hitting names including Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder.

A tough operator, Ngannou will welcome all challengers, but as it stands, the Frenchman rates Fury as the biggest puncher he’s ever opposed.

“Fury punches pretty good. I ate some of his shots, he punches very strong,” said Ngannou when speaking on The Last Stand podcast

“And he was with 10oz gloves because MMA fights are 4oz gloves. In boxing it’s 10oz. I think, so far, he is the top [hard hitter.]”
