Frank Warren believes Joe Joyce will beat Oleksandr Usyk.
The Hall of Fame promoter, a man responsible for guiding Joyce’s career, insists his fighter has every chance of upsetting the talented Ukranian if a meeting between the pair ever took place.
As amateurs, Joyce and Usyk shared rounds and it was the latter who came out on top, but Warren is adamant that the result would be different as professionals.
A contest featuring both boxers was rumoured earlier this year when it appeared Anthony Joshua could vacate his WBO crown, but the Watford man took on Usyk and was relieved of his belts in London last month.
"Him [Joyce] and Usyk would be a great fight," said Warren when speaking to Sky Sports.
"He could hurt Usyk, he's a big man. Could he beat Usyk? Yes. He fancies it and I fancy it. He isn't going to back off Usyk. He'd let his shots go. It won't be the little man out-jabbing the big man - that will not be happening."
