Clarke (6-0, 5 KOs) faces veteran Wach 37-9 (20 KOs) in London this week as he looks to continue his rise through the ranks. An Olympic bronze medallist at Tokyo 2020, Clarke began his professional career last year and has not shied away from stepping into the ring at every opportunity, as Friday's bout against Wach will be his third of 2023.
The 31-year-old fully expects to add another win to his record this week, and he only sees his pro journey ending one way: as world champion.
"I'm going to talk it into existence," Clarke told Sky Sports. "I'm going to do the work but the same time I want everyone to know all the people at home that are doubting me and think, 'no he's not got a chance, he's not looked great, he's not this, he's not that.' I will be a world champion."
Clarke said he'll get to the top of the heavyweight ladder through "manifestion," self-belief and hard work.
"I believe in myself," he said. "I've got good people around me that believe in me.
"I'm working hard every day to make that happen. I'll find a way, 100 percent I'll find a way."
