George Groves enjoyed a remarkable career as he reigned as world champion as well as taking part in numerous memorable feuds.
The London super-middleweight had a stellar amateur career and after turning pro with Adam Booth and David Haye guiding his career, Groves certainly looked the part.
Engaging in personal rivalries against the likes of James DeGale, Carl Froch, and Chris Eubank Jr, Groves was part of some of British boxing’s most talked about battles.
After losing to Callum Smith in 2018, Groves walked away from boxing, but who was the most skilful fighter he ever faced?
"The most skilful fighter, in the gym in sparring was Andre Dirrell, he was really skilful,” said Groves when talking to talkSPORT.
“This is post his fight with Carl Froch but pre his fight with James DeGale so I was still a bit of a newbie pro, but he was very good.
"He was lightning fast and very explosive. He had decent power and a lot of boxing IQ.”
