George Kambosos was given a deserved hero’s reception when he returned to Australia earlier this week.
Last month, Kambosos shocked the world when he floored Teofimo Lopez in the opening round before outpointing the Brooklyn man in his own backyard to become the world’s best lightweight.
Instead of partaking in an immediate homecoming, Kambosos stayed on in America as he went on an intense media parade before watching Devin Haney’s world title defence against JoJo Diaz.
Much speculation exists about Kambosos’ next move, but the 28-year-old has made it clear that he’s ready to take on all challengers.
"We're bringing the big fights here now. I deserve it, I've earned that," said Kambosos when speaking with Fox Sport in Australia.
"I haven't fought here since 2017 so a big fight (is coming) and we're going to bring that to a massive stadium. 80,000 people. Haney, [Gervonta] Davis, [Vasiliy] Lomachenko, [Ryan] Garcia, they're all going to get it."
