Devin Haney has revealed who he wants to face next if he makes it two wins from two against George Kambosos this weekend.
The undisputed ruler at 135lbs travels to Australia for a second time this year as he aims to close the door on his rivalry with Kambosos after outpointing the same fighter earlier this year.
With lightweight being one of boxing’s most stacked divisions, plenty of options await Haney if he can make light work of Kambosos again.
Gervonta Davis, Ryan Garcia, Vasiliy Lomachenko and Shakur Stevenson are all potential opponents, and Haney believes that a showdown with Davis is the right way to go.
“I wouldn’t say that Tank is a bigger money fight than Ryan [Garcia]. I think they’re about the same,” said Haney when speaking to Seconds Out.
“Loma is the easier fight to make, but Tank is the bigger fight.
“Tank is the fight that I would want more. It’s bigger with more money, obviously, but Loma is the fight for legacy, bragging rights, and the easiest to make.”
