There are a whole range of possible opponents for Gervonta 'Tank' Davis after he stopped Ryan Garcia this past April in Las Vegas.
One of those could be a showdown with the undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney, who overcame Vasiliy Lomachenko on points two weeks ago.
Speaking in what was a frantic interview with Zeb Brooks Multimedia, Davis' trainer, Calvin Ford, named Haney as the fighter he wants 'Tank' to face next.
However, if that fight cannot be made, Ford said a rematch with Isaac Cruz could also be on the table.
Davis and Cruz first met in December 2021 in what turned out to be gruelling 12-round affair. Davis was declared the winner via unanimous decision, but Cruz proved that he can challenge the very best in the lightweight division with his performance at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
