Gervonta 'Tank' Davis has clarified his comments about being more skilful than former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.
Davis is busy preparing for his showdown with Ryan Garcia on April 22 live on DAZN and DAZN PPV, and has often claimed that he has more skills than Tyson with both men being known for their devastating knockout ability.
When speaking to Showtime, Davis explained the meaning behind his recent comments.
"I feel that I'm more of a boxer puncher," Davis said.
"Like I said before, I think I do have more skills than Mike Tyson.
"When I say I have more skills than Mike Tyson, guys smarter than like at them lower weight classes always have more.
"No heavyweight ever in life have more skills than smaller guys.
"People think that I'm dissing Mike Tyson, I'm not dissing Mike Tyson for sure. Just the facts is facts."
