Gervonta 'Tank' Davis has confirmed his return to the ring will be against Rolando 'Rolly' Romero on December 5 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
Davis is continuing his assault on the lightweight division and is hoping a win can take him another step closer to getting a shot at WBC champion Devin Haney or unified title holder Teofimo Lopez.
Davis took to social media to announce the fight and the bout will be broadcast on Showtime PPV.
This fight will settle a long-brewing rivalry between the two who are promoted by Mayweather Promotions under the PBC banner.
Davis' last victory came against Mario Barrios in June where the Baltimore native produced an eighth-round stoppage, while Romero recorded a stoppage victory of his own against Anthony Yigit last July.
