Fabio Wardley and Frazer Clarke will share a ring this weekend when they compete for the British title, but this is not their first time trading punches.
Wardley and Clarke have been trading verbal barbs for months during their rivalry and this Sunday we’ll find out who is the better fighter.
Wardely captured the Lonsdale belt in 2022 when stopping Nathan Gorman and he made a successful first defence against David Adeleye last October.
Jeamie TKV, a heavyweight prospect, will be a keen observer and he’s revealed what happened when the pair sparred.
"I was there. Frazer was having some success, but the success didn't last. Fabio took over,” said TKV when speaking to Sky Sports.
"He always seemed stronger and fitter. I can see that happening in the fight. Fabio being stronger and fitter. He may lose one round. He may lose two rounds. But I believe as the fight goes on, Fabio will become a problem for Frazer.”
