Is Estrada vs. 'Chocolatito' the best boxing trilogy? Trainer Abel Sanchez gives his verdictDAZN

After ten years of building one of the best rivalries in boxing's lower weight divisions, this weekend in Glendale, Arizona, Nicaraguan multi-weight world champion Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez will face Juan Francisco Estrada in one of the most eagerly anticipated trilogy fights in recent memory.

With the WBC World vacant super flyweight crown at stake, the two old rivals hope to settle the score in a rivalry that began in 2012 with both men having one win apiece.

"I would like to go to that (fight). Roman was in my gym two or three times and this fight is the third. I want to be there, live. For me, if Roman arrives safely and in good condition, it will be the best of the three fights," the former Gennadiy Golovkin trainer Abel Sanchez told DAZN

As a boxing purist, Sanchez claims the qualities which Gonzalez possesses are ones which he hasn't seen for a long time in the lighter weight classes and have played a major part in the 35-year-old being considered by many as a pound-for-pound great.

"There are many great fights, but without a doubt, this trilogy between Chocolatito anbd Estrada Gallo can be within the top five in history," Sanchez said.

"Because of what Chocolatito has done, everything falls on Chocolatito, for what he has done in the sport.

"Estrada is great too, but Chocolatito is something special."
