Is Josh Taylor still a top 10 pound-for-pound fighter?

Is Josh Taylor still a top 10 pound-for-pound fighter?DAZN
Ak and Barak discussed whether the undisputed 140lb champion should still be considered one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world.

Following his controversial points victory against Jack Catterall, some are considering whether Josh Taylor should still be a top 10 pound-for-pound fighter.

DAZN News' latest pound-for-pound rankings saw Taylor slip down four places to number 10 and this fall from grace became a topic of discussion on The DAZN Boxing Show

"I would take him off for now and I also said I want to see how he performs in the next fight because he might have just had a bad night," Barak said.

"I don’t like that Bud is not number two, and Inoue is not there in the top three, but it is what it is.

"Usyk won the heavyweight championship, he got three belts, fine, put him number three, but Inoue should be number four.

"I just think Josh Taylor should probably slip off the list for now and let’s just see how he performs in his next fight."

A rematch with Catterall is looking unlikely for the undisputed super lightweight champion who has frequently expressed his desire to move up to welterweight and challenge the likes of WBO champion Terence Crawford.
