The Mexican Pitbull wants the biggest names in an exciting lightweight division in 2022.

Isaac Cruz is focused and after 15 years in boxing, he believes a defeat to Gervonta 'Tank' Davis earlier this month will not stop him becoming a star in a stacked lightweight division.

Cruz was brought in as a replacement opponent to face Gervonta Davis at the start of December in a fight which went the full distance to the surprise of many.

Despite suffering a second professional loss, Cruz feels that this defeat is the first warning for the rest of the lightweight division and is looking to face Ryan Garcia, WBC champion Davin Haney, Joseph 'JoJo' Diaz or unified champion George Kambosos Jr in 2022.

"The world championship is something I have worked for almost 15 years. I dream and yearn for it. I want it to be big and I have no preference for the title (WBA, WBC, IBF or WBO). I faced a top level fighter and he didn't give us that much trouble, thanks to my hunger and my preparation we came out the way we did so I'm focused on continuing to blaze the trail," he said in an exclusive interview with DAZN News.

"Ryan Garcia, JoJo Diaz, whoever. But if it comes down to them, I'm ready to take them on. Even if it's short notice, I'm ready for anybody.

"Ryan hasn't been a fighter that's caused any big danger in the division, he's more focused on making videos and having followers on Instagram. But if he wants to fight, let him come at me.

"Diaz gets my attention because I hear he wants to bully me, he says he wants to knock me out and that's why I'm there for him whenever he wants."

But if it comes to the dream world title fight, the 23-year-old Cruz is willing to face both Kambosos or Haney.

"I have a great working team and we haven't stopped... I want to fulfil my son Amadeo's (4 years old) dream in 2022, I want to give him the world championship and give Mexico a new champion."

The Mexican Pitbull is scheduled to start his gym work on January 10th as he awaits the call for a career defining fight.
