Matchroom Boxing announced on Tuesday that the super lightweight showdown between Jack Catterall and Regis Prograis has been postponed.

The men were scheduled to meet on August 24 in Manchester, but an injury to Catterall led to the cancellation.

"Our August 24 event at Co-op Live in Manchester is cancelled due to an injury sustained to Jack Catterall," read a post by Matchroom on X (formerly Twitter).

"Further details will follow in due course.

"Ticket refunds are available from your point of purchase."
