Jaime Munguia was in a destructive mood in Mexico.

Jaime Munguia is ready to compete for world titles once again following his latest victory. The Mexican fighter delighted his adoring public in Tijuana when stopping D’Mitrius Ballard in the third round of a one-sided contest.

Munguia had hurt the American in the fight’s second stanza and he showed his ruthlessness in the following session when letting his hands go and forcing a stoppage.

After reigning as world champion at 154lbs, a run that included wins over Sadam Ali and Liam Smith, Munguia has had to wait patiently to earn a crack at one of the titlists up at middleweight.

After registering another impressive win at 160lbs, Munguia is ready to push on and challenge himself against one of the division's top names.

“This is the fight where I felt the strongest, I’m ready for anyone,” said Munguia when speaking to DAZN’s Chris Mannix after his destruction of Ballard. “We’re ready for those title shots. Like I said, we’re ready for anyone. I will take whichever one comes first. I’m so happy to bring a big event like this to Tijuana. I’m happy with the result; I’m happy with my performance.”
