The press conference ahead of Saturday's historic women's headliner at Madison Square Garden between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano just got even more interesting.
Challenger Serrano's promoter Jake Paul used the stage to make a public bet to his opposite number, undisputed lightweight champion Taylor's promoter Eddie Hearn, saying: "I'm more confident than you are... let's bet on it.
Paul continued: "I'll bet all of my jewellery that Serrano wins," causing Hearn to quip that the bet wouldn't be worth that much in that case.
So, the American YouTuber-turned boxing star upped the ante to a $500,000 bet between the two, and extended his hand to seal it.
Interestingly, Hearn did not shake and assured Paul they would speak about it later. So, Paul upped it to a million dollars.
"Serrano is the favourite with the bookmakers, though," said Hearn, revealing why he wasn't shaking on it just yet.
"Okay, a million dollars plus odds," was Paul's rebuttal, which led to the two shaking hands live on the DAZN press conference stream.
"When I win, I'm giving your million dollars to her (Serrano)," Paul added.
