The YouTuber wants to fight the former UFC champion.

Jake Paul believes Dana White is standing in a way of a fight with Conor McGregor.

McGregor has fought once in the boxing ring, when he lost to Floyd Mayweather in 2017, and while he was once one of the best fighters in UFC, he has struggled since his return to the Octagon and lost to Dustin Poirier earlier in the year, breaking his leg in the process.

With McGregor’s MMA future far from certain, Paul thinks that White will release him from his UFC obligations and eventually clear the way for the pair to meet.

"I think Dana White is obstacle No.1," Paul said to In Depth with Graham Bensinger.

"If Dana would ever let Conor out of his contract to set up the boxing match, I think that's what is needed to make it happen.

"And I think that will, I think it will happen and if Conor is going to just continue to lose fights - he's 1-4 in the past five years - then there's not much Dana will be able to do with him anyway.

"So cash him out one more time, but his manager is good friends with my manager and another one of my advisors and they talk constantly about making it happen.

"They're like, 'yeah we're down, we're about it'."

Paul will face off against Tyron Woodley this Saturday in Florida, after British light heavyweight Tommy Fury was forced to withdraw due to injury and illness.
