Jake Paul explains why he was 'disappointed' despite scoring first round winMVP
Jake Paul had his first of 2024 last night.

Despite scoring an impressive first round win over Ryan Bourland in Puerto Rico, Jake Paul has admitted he was eager to spend more time in the ring.

The popular YouTuber had his first outing of 2024 against the cruiserweight contender, and he got ready for bigger tests by easily dispatching his opponent.

Paul has rebuilt brilliantly since losing to Tommy Fury last year and he’s eager to settle the score with his longtime rival.

Paul’s name is linked to several fighters from multiple fighting backgrounds, but after winning his most recent fight quickly, Paul wishes he could’ve got more rounds banked.

"Man, I felt good. I felt really sharp, fast, locked in, but I was just getting warmed up really,” said Paul at the post-fight press conference.

“I am kind of disappointed to be honest. I want more, I want a challenge and we had someone with 20 fights, and I just keep on getting these guys out of there in the first round.

“I train so hard, it's a little bit disappointing for the fans as well. I want someone to test me so I can make some adjustments and show off some of my new skills.”
