Jake Paul and Mike Tyson made history on Friday night when they finally stepped into the ring for their much-hyped encounter at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas

The Problem Child faced off with The Baddest Man in the Planet, almost two decades after the latter last fought professionally, in an eight-round contest.

There was plenty of pre-fight talk over how the two men would fare given their differences on show, but who ultimately prevailed in their clash?

Who won the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight?

Jake Paul was the winner of his fight with Mike Tyson, scoring a unanimous decision on points after the clash went the distance between the pair.

At 27, The Problem Child entered as the heavy favourite given his three-decade age gap against the 58-year-old Iron Mike, as well as his recent in-ring experience.

So it proved to be in the end, as the judges scored it 79-73, 79-73 and 80-72 in favour of the Ohio native, who looked comfortable throughout against a tired foe.

Save for a few persuasive bursts in the early stages, Tyson - who was sporting a knee brace - looked a shadow of his former self, and struggled to connect with meaningful hits.

The final rounds of the contests were met with audible disdain by the crowd as the event effectively petered out, with booing from some sections for the performances.

It came in sharp contrast to a terrific precursor as Katie Taylor scored a thrilling points win over Amanda Serrano in their rematch, though not without controversy too.
