Jake Paul has launched a vicious attack on KSI ahead of their respective fights that take place in August. Next Saturday, Paul will face Hasim Rahman Jr, a fight being shown in some DAZN regions, in what is undoubtedly his toughest test to date. Later that month, KSI returns to action as he takes on Alex Wassabi. Paul is not impressed.
Despite both popular personalities trying their hardest to establish themselves as serious fighters, the background that made them household names is still important to both. With both men consistently demonstrating their standing amongst trending topics and Google searches, Paul believes he’s another level to KSI in all aspects of his working life.
“He makes no money compared to me,” said Paul when speaking on The DAZN Boxing Show.
“I’m one of the top five highest paid athletes under the age of 25. The number speak for themselves. We’re two different levels. We’re two different worlds. The kid is just an internet star who’s pushing 30 years old.
“Look at our Google searches online. I s—t on him even in his own country. In the U.K., I get twice as many searches as him. He’s popular and he has a lot of clout, but he’s just not built like me and he’s not on the same level. He’s fighting an influencer and I’m fighting a professional. I’m knocking these dudes out.”
