Joe Joyce picked out Jake Paul as one of the hardest working fighters in crossover boxing.
Paul most recently fought Nate Diaz in the ring and got back to winning ways against the former UFC man, after losing to Tommy Fury earlier in the year, in his first career defeat.
The YouTuber has professed designs on fighting for a world title later in his career, but a clash with fellow crossover fighter KSI might be lined up in the medium term instead.
Joyce, speaking to BetVictor, was asked about his thoughts on crossover fighting, and he talked up the advantages.
He said: “I appreciate it. They are dedicating their time, and they're training hard too and improving themselves as well, especially people like Jake Paul.
"They've been in it for a while now and they keep on improving.
“But yeah, it does bring other eyes to the sport that normally wouldn't watch boxing.
"But they're from that YouTuber, influencer generation, and then it maybe sparks an interest to actually watch some other fights. It also draws a lot of money to the sport as well. So, I think that those kinds of things help.”
