Jake Paul has detailed the one condition that needs to be met if he is to fight KSI.
Paul and KSI are two of the biggest names in crossover boxing, and a clash between these entertainment stars is one which fans have been desperate to see.
Both men have experienced a mixed 2023. Paul lost his unbeaten record to Tommy Fury in February before returning to winning ways six months later against former UFC star Nate Diaz.
KSI meanwhile kicked off his 2023 with a win over Faze Temperrr in January before his win over Joe Fournier this past May was a ruled a no contest. The British star then suffered the first loss of his crossover boxing career when he was beaten by Tommy Fury in October.
Despite both Paul and KSI losing to Fury, there is still a huge amount of interest in this particular matchup and Paul revealed that he is willing to give up two major factors to make the fight happen, but he does want to choose the weight for this contest.
"You [KSI] can be the A-side, we can do it on your home turf. 185lbs," Paul said on Ariel Helwani's MMA Hour.
Paul then went onto claim that despite him wanting the fight, it's KSI who is reluctant to step in the ring with "The Problem Child".
"I think the [Tommy Fury] loss, and how badly it hurt his ego... kind of just shows, if he’s that salty about that loss, if he would lose to me, it would be the end of his entire world. I don’t think he’s ready for that mental burden and risk everything to fight me.
"I just don’t think he’s going to come back to the boxing ring. He’s playing video games, doing reaction videos, while I’m sparring world champions."
