Jake Paul would have no problem beating Carl Froch if the pair ever decide to settle their war of words inside a boxing ring.
That’s the verdict of Derek Chisora who was asked his opinion on a potential contest between the pair following Paul’s challenge to the former world super-middleweight champion on social media ahead of his imminent battle with Tommy Fury.
Paul faces Fury this Sunday but that hasn’t prevented him from looking ahead to his next challenge with Froch seemingly the target.
The Nottingham man has been retired since knocking out George Groves in 2014 but even though he owns a wealth of experience at boxing’s most elite level, Chisora is picking Paul to emerge victorious against ‘The Cobra.’
“Good luck to Jake Paul. The guy believes he can do anything, and when you’re that young age, you believe you can do anything,” said Chisora when speaking to IFL TV.
“He’s entertainment. Those people that talk rubbish about him, they can’t do it, that’s why. There’s nothing wrong with that. Carl Froch will go in there and get his a-- beaten up and go get your check, bro. He’ll beat Carl Froch.”
