Conor McGregor has made his prediction for the upcoming fight between Jake Paul and Mike Perry.
Paul and Perry clash on DAZN this coming Saturday, with Perry looking to ruin Paul's preparations for his meeting with boxing legend Mike Tyson on November 15.
McGregor and Paul have often come to verbal blows, and this has led to demand for a fight between the two to settle their differences.
Speaking at a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship press conference on Thursday, McGregor revealed who he would be backing in Tampa.
“[You can] make a new name for yourself [here]. Look at what has happened to Michael Perry, one of our big stars here – the ‘King of Violence’, he titles himself," McGregor said.
“He’s had such a rise in the sport, now he’s up against a little dweeb of a thing in a fight this weekend, [and] we’re all rooting for him.”
McGregor is yet to return to the world of combat sports for the first time since 2021 after his UFC comeback against Michael Chandler last month was cancelled after picking up a broken toe in training camp, a new date for the fight is yet to be announced.
