Jaron Ennis and Jesse Rodriguez are two of the biggest names in boxing and both world champions will be in action this weekend. The pair will feature on a huge show in Philadelphia, live on DAZN , and they’ll be aiming to take big steps towards even bigger fights in 2025.
Ennis will defend his welterweight world title against Karen Chukhadzhian in a rematch from their 2023 encounter whilst 'Bam' will put his flyweight belt on the line against Mexico's Pedro Guevera.
Victory for both fighters will immediately see them linked to major showdowns next year with both operating around many quality fighters.
Here, DAZN looks at four fights that could feature both men over the next 12 months once Saturday is out the way.

Is Ennis the natural successor to Crawford at welterweight? Or does he have to follow his fellow American to 154lbs to prove that he’s the better fighter?
A battle between two outstanding talents would be one of the biggest fights of 2025, but could it be coming too soon for the Philadelphia man?
Crawford was pushed hard by Israil Madrimov last time out, so could Ennis take confidence from that and be the first man to defeat the Nebraska fighter?
Ennis’ team desperately want to prove themselves and defeating Crawford would be the way to do it.
Jesse Rodriguez vs. Roman Gonzalez

Rodriguez has been a breath of fresh air in the lower weight categories and victory over Roman Gonzalez is one way to add to his legacy.
The masterful Nicaraguan has arguably seen better days, but he still remains a quality fighter, and he’d relish the opportunity to face Rodriguez.
The Texas man has already defeated some major names and adding Gonzalez to his list would be very impressive.
Jaron Ennis vs. Errol Spence
Could Ennis be the man to end Errol Spence’s run as a top-level fighter?
The former pound-for-pound superstar was humbled when facing Terence Crawford in 2023 and repeated comebacks have not yet materialised.
Speculation exists about Spence moving to super-welterweight, but if a showdown with Ennis could be secured, it could be an opportunity for the current welterweight ruler to make a big statement.
Bam Rodriguez vs. Naoya Inoue
Could we see 'Bam' take a huge leap and challenge Naoya Inoue at super-bantamweight?
Rodriguez has made it aware that he wants the biggest tests in boxing and a big jump in weight could see him face one of the sport’s most brutal fighters.
Inoue currently has a big division to make as he’s linked to a move to featherweight in 2025, but could he be persuaded to remain in his current weight class if Bam is ready to meet him there?
This incredible pairing would be one of the biggest fights of the year, and although Bam is conceding size, his brilliant skillset could make this an interesting collision.
