The IBF welterweight world champion isn't pulling any punches.

Jaron Ennis has reason to be supremely confident.

The 27-year-old IBF welterweight world champion remains undefeated with a 31-0 record with 28 knockouts and 1 no contest and is set for a homecoming, defending the title against David Avanesyan at Wells Fargo Center in his home city of Philadelphia on Saturday night, and live on DAZN.

But "Boots" has other reasons to feel self-assured that he'll have his hand raised in victory this weekend.

In fact, he rattled off some of those reasons while speaking with DAZN Boxing recently.

"Three reasons why I win this fight because I'm a smarter, faster, stronger, just all around, you know, better," Ennis began listing.

"Two is, you know, I'm locked in, I'm dedicated and my mind is focused."

He added: "And three is because I'm me."

Behind dazzling boxing wizardry, Ennis enters the ring having last produced a 10th-round KO of Roiman Villa last July.

He's facing an opponent in Avanesyan (29-4-1, 17 KOs) who is coming off a fourth-round stoppage win against Serge Abomo last year.
