Vazquez pushed the pace throughout the 12 rounds, with Cordina looking to counter and keep his opponent at range, as the men went back and forth trading the momentum until the final bell.
In the end, the judges' scorecards showed a majority decision for the Welsh fighter, who improves to 17-0 with the victory.
