Joe Fournier is backing Jake Paul to emerge victorious when he faces Nate Diaz later this year in an intriguing encounter.
Fournier has his own big test coming up when he gets into the ring with KSI this weekend, a fight being shown in multiple regions on DAZN, but that didn’t stop the former WBA International champion from offering his thoughts on the August bout.
Earlier this year, Paul suffered his first pro loss when he was beaten via split decision against his great rival, Tommy Fury.
Due to the size of the event and the post-fight interview, it appeared that a rematch between Paul and Fury would be next, but the popular YouTuber has gone in a different direction and will next face the former UFC star this summer.
“He’s a big guy, Jake. I’ve just done his podcast,” said Fournier when speaking exclusively to DAZN ahead of his fight with KSI.
“Jake is turning the corner in the professional ranks, and you can see that by the way he’s been fighting. If it’s a two-fight deal, I think Jake wins the boxing one and Nate wins the MMA one comfortably.”
