Joe Joyce vs. Derek Chisora: Crowd responds when beaten fighter asks if he should retireDAZN
Joyce suffered a painful defeat last night.

Joe Joyce appears determined to continue in the ring despite his loss to Derek Chisora.

The 38-year-old heavyweight now has three defeats in his last four fights, with the one victory an unremarkable clash with Kash Ali earlier in the year.

Joyce was once regarded as a credible title challenger but the defeat against Chisora appears to confirm weaknesses on display over the course of twin defeats to Zhilei Zhang.

However, the Briton was happy with his showing against Chisora in a unanimous decision loss, and speaking after the fight, he asked the O2 crowd if he should continue.

“That was fantastic, I enjoyed that fight,” Joyce began. “I thought it was close. That was a brilliant performance he gave. I’m happy to share the ring with him. What a legend.”

“Well, I don’t know if I’m done yet. Do you want to see more of me?”

Joyce replied to the cheers, stating: “Well there you go man, I’m still pretty fresh.”
